Expanded Peer Mediation Package

Peer Mediation provides a guided process for peaceful conflict resolution. As its name implies, peers of the disputants conduct the mediation. The disputing parties resolve their own disputes and create their own solutions. The trained mediators act as neutral third parties to help the participants reach a mutually fair and reasonable agreement.

Dissolution of friendships 

Property theft 

Confrontations that result from differences in race, culture, etc. 

What are the benefits of peer mediation training?

Resolution of minor disputes that interfere with education process

Reduced suspensions and overall decrease in disciplinary measures

This includes the basic training for 20 students and 4 adults and it includes support from Community Mediation in setting up and running the program.  From how referrals will be made to how your mediators will be chosen, to how to set up the sessions, we will be there to help you have a sustainable program that gives you the best outcomes.  


• 12-hour peer mediation training for up to 20 students and 4 staff members
•  2-hour orientation session for all faculty & staff re: how to use the program
•  3-hour workshop implementation for 3-4 staff members overseeing the program
• 10 hours consulting to: assist with implementation; mentor peer mediators; coach program staff members
